AAO Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator Advert – [Part-Time / Wauchope]

The Bookkeeper/Finance Administrator will provide financial and administrative support to colleagues, partners and stakeholders of the organisation. The position will maintain and further develop Asian Aid Organisation’s financial record keeping and reporting systems, preparing and processing payroll, maintaining accounts payables and recording of all income received into the organisation. The position will also prepare and lodge all BAS and IAS returns, and superannuation and other regulatory reporting in an accurate and timely manner. Management reporting is also a feature of this role.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a passion for accuracy, sound organisational and time management skills and the ability to work in a small team being flexible to take on a variety of administrative tasks where required.

Essential requirements:
The right person for this role will have knowledge, insight and experience with the following:

• Payroll – through accounting software (XERO preferred)
• Bank Reconciliation
• Overseas transfers
• Data Entry and matching
• Expense claims
• Term Deposit Management
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Process + pay Credit cards
• Management reporting
• Support for Financial Reporting
• Ad hoc reporting
