Announcing our new program for our Speech and Hearing Impaired School.

We are excited to announce that this year, we are launching a new Program that will provide further assistance for students to transition towards meaningful and independent living as adults at our Speech and Hearing Impaired School.

Our Program will aim to ensure our Speech and Hearing Impaired School provides the best opportunities for students both from a learning perspective but also that we equip them to transition back into their communities with meaningful jobs that produce genuine income opportunities.

We will aim to do this by providing additional support and infrastructure for the children that may include the following:

1. Early intervention and speech therapy will assist the students to better communicate beyond their own community.
2. While all our students go on and have employment, it can often be difficult to transition into tertiary education. We aim to provide additional support so they can improve their employment opportunities.
3. The ability to sign in both English and their native language will allow better communication options.
4. To ensure that students have the skills required for future independent living beyond standard education.
