Upgrading Children’s Homes during Covid-19

Our partner, 3 Angels Nepal, has been looking at repairing, conducting maintenance and upgrading children’s homes. Your ongoing support and contributions has allowed these homes to be moved to a better location.

Upgrading Children's Homes

The first phase of moving the children’s homes has been completed. This means that some of the homes have been merged and moved for child safety and the consolidation of staff. This also combats the rising cost of leased housing while also creating a sense of community and interaction for the children.

All the boys and girls have been moved into two separate homes where staff can focus on addressing concerns for ongoing mental health and wellbeing through the extended lockdown.

Children over 13 years of age are currently living in the dormitory system where they learn about cultural understanding and can have a happy and safe environment to live in.

Your support has allowed us, with 3 Angels Nepal, in upgrading children’s homes and to create this space for children to live in and we are thankful to you for making that happen and supporting the work we are doing.
