Message from our CEO

A personal message on the impact of COVID-19 on Asian Aid’s work

Dear Friends

As one of our incredibly generous supporters, I wanted to reach out to you personally and update you on the impact of COVID-19 is having on our work.

Firstly, I do hope your family and friends have been able to remain safe in this difficult time.

For the past 54 years, the support of wonderful people like yourselves, has been important in helping children in need. We have achieved so much through your generosity and we’re thankful for your ongoing support

Asian Aid is committed to our Vision and will continue to support and protect the disadvantaged children in our care, their communities, our partner staff in Bangladesh, Nepal and India as well as our team here in Australia.

Our priority is always to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children you help support. To do this, we are in constant communication with our partners who are implementing the most effective plans to support the children because it is all and will always be about the children.

With this in mind, I’m hopeful that you will continue to give as generously as you can and continue to help us care for vulnerable children and their communities we support, and lower the impact of COVID-19.

Moving forward, our office will continue to be fully operational. However, as per government recommendations due to the impact of COVID-19 we have implemented a remote working strategy which allows our staff to work remotely, helping prevent the spread of disease and remain safe.

We would love to hear from you or should you like to talk with an Asian Aid staff member, please contact us on 02 6586 4250.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and prayers at this time.

Warm regards,

Paul High
