Meeting Them Halfway

In some parts of rural Nepal, many women give birth at home – sometimes by choice, often because there’s no other option. For some, the nearest help is too far away. Others place their trust in traditional methods that can be unsafe.

And many simply don’t know that proper medical care could save their lives.

Fewer than 60% of births in Nepal are attended by a trained professional – putting both mothers and babies at risk. Home births can also mean children aren’t registered, leaving them without state recognition or benefits.

Like you, we believe every woman deserves safe care for herself and her baby. That’s why we take trained professionals, education, and life-saving support deep into remote communities – reaching families who would otherwise never get help.

Women don’t have to walk for days to find care. And their babies can be born safely.
