Food Relief Update, India

Remote locations of children challenge food relief in India

Carrying the third largest Covid-19 infectious rate in the world, India is facing increasingly challenging times. Despite this, our Partners have been outstanding in how they have managed to not just provide welfare and food relief in India to the children and their families but are also positioned to expand their relief support over the coming months to an additional 2,729 children and families.

Due to the geographical and remote distribution of our children who are either now at home or remain at schools combined with lock-downs and localised spread of the disease close to our schools much support has been done to ensure that hygiene materials as well as food relief in India has been distributed.
