Amar comes from a family of four in a community in Western Nepal. The area is known for high levels of human trafficking and when Amar’s family was having trouble meeting daily needs, he was identified as being at risk along with his brother.

Through sponsorship, he was admitted into our program in 2012 at age nine, where he has been provided a holistic education at a good school. Today he is active in his sports and participates in many of the tournaments held locally, including uni-hockey and football tournaments.
Recently Amar sat his Grade 10 examinations and is waiting for the results. One day, he would like to become a doctor – a dream made achievable through his sponsorship and good education.
