GIFT YOURSELF
We rely on God to open hearts and doors in ways we couldn't
even imagine. Arthur approached us after a church service and gifted his
amazing web design skills to build this site at no cost to us. Neville
offered his graphic design skills to design a new brochure. Jonathan and
Robert run our Asian Aid Internet Cafe at Big Camp. Students from
Avondale flew to India to visit our children. Volunteers have built our
office, reviewed our constitution, provided medical services to children,
handed out newsletters at churches and spoken on our behalf. If you think
you can make a gift of yourself, of your time or skills, please contact
us. You could be an answer to prayers we have not even prayed yet.
SPREAD THE WORD
Through all our faults and weaknesses God is blessing us.
With such small resources we have accomplished so much. Tell others. Ask
your friends if they could sponsor a child. Involve others in this mission
to love poor children. If you have a burden to speak on our behalf in
churches or at public events call us. We can achieve so much more together.
FUNDRAISE
We have some suggestions but you may already have the answer.
Fundraising could involve keeping loose change or organising a dinner
at church or amongst friends. Asian Aid supporters at the Cooranbong Community
Centre sell second-hand goods. Your school could have a mufti-day, poverty
day, car wash. A woman's group might consider a craft night, morning tea
or market stall. Could you establish a business? Has God already sown
an idea in your mind?
