While Asian Aid is best known for its child sponsorship program, we are doing our best to spread hope even further.

We know that no child is an island. Every child is surrounded by a network of people forming a community, and that community has the ability to shape a child's future for better or for worse. For the lucky ones, that community begins with their family - for the less fortunate ones who have lost their family, community becomes even more vital as a support network.

We also recognise the need for sustainability and we want to ensure we give a hand up, not a hand out, wherever we work overseas.

That's why Asian Aid engages in projects other than child sponsorship. These projects are ways of building a future for generations of children to come. We provide clean water sources, give literacy, numeracy and vocational training to adults, and provide clinics and surgery for women in need, knowing that the positive impact of what we do now will still be felt long after we're gone.
