Children and Orphans at School Our Mission

Believing that all children are precious to God:

"Asian Aid gives hope by fostering permanent positive change in the lives of disadvantaged children and their communities."

In India, Nepal and Bangladesh we will assist:

  • 8,800 poor children in over 190 schools and institutions (more)
  • 243 in deaf and blind schools
  • 407 orphans in 7 orphanages (more)
  • Young women caught up in the sex trade in Nepal (more)
  • Thousands of women suffering with third degree uterine prolapse (more)
  • Families in our leper colony
  • 855 of the poorest of the poor through Hungry Money
  • Nurses and university students from very poor families (more)
In total, we will assist over 8,800 children or young people through school sponsorship. We also operate a health clinic, educate women about the cause of prolapse, build classrooms, repair existing buildings, clothe children, and work hard to keep our sponsors and donors informed. We also support a number of lay ministers.

Central to our mission is building the infrastructure of the local school, empowering it to meet the needs of its own communities. Asian Aid is an accredited, supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is dedicated to sharing God's love.
